i-Pulz 2
The i-Pulz 2 is a small and portable digital TENS device that can be worn invisibly under clothing. User-friendly designed buttons and software make using the device easy, even if pressing buttons is made difficult by rheumatism, for example.
A nerve stimulator delivers electrical pulses through the skin to the nerves with electrodes placed on the body. This drowns out the pain stimulus, so that fewer signals go to the brain. It also stimulates the body to produce the pain-relieving endorphins.
The 12 preset programs of the i-Pulz 2 are well-known TENS therapies that should help with most acute and chronic pain. With 3 customizable programs, the user and prescriber can put together a program that matches the pain needs.
The i-Pulz 2 can be charged wirelessly due to the built-in wireless charging option. Simply charge the device with the included wireless charging pad.
TENS therapy as a treatment for chronic pain is fully reimbursed. To be eligible for reimbursement, the TENS device must be prescribed by a doctor or pain specialist recognized by the health insurer.

TENS therapy has virtually no side effects. Skin irritation may occur due to an allergic reaction to the electrodes used with the appliance. Van Lent Systems has a very broad and large range of skin-friendly electrodes to combat skin irritation problems.
In some cases, the body may become accustomed to long-term daily use of nerve stimulation. This accustomization can result in lower production of endorphins.
